BY DOWNLOADING ANY SOFTWARE FROM CHROMECAST.COM YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS. USING OUR SOFTWARE INDICATES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, REMOVE ALL INSTANCES OF THE SAID SOFTWARE FROM ALL YOUR SYSTEMS.

 

LICENSE AGREEMENT

Chromecast Inc. licenses all software on this site to you only upon the condition that you accept all of the terms contained in this license agreement.

 

YOU MAY:

(i) use Chromecast Inc. software on one computer for each license purchased;

 

YOU MAY NOT:

(i) sublicense, rent, sell, or lease any portion of the software;

(ii) reverse engineer, de-compile, disassemble, modify, translate, make any attempt to discover the source code of said software, or create derivative works from said software; or

(iii) use said software on a greater number of computers than the number of licenses you have purchased without expressed written permission of Chromecast Inc..

 

WARRANTY

Chromecast Inc. warrants that all software unless otherwise noted will substantially perform its functions when used correctly and in accordance with specifications and instructions.

 

Chromecast Inc. MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

 

Your sole and exclusive remedy for breach of this warranty is the replacement of the said software or a refund of the purchase price, at Chromecast Inc.'s option.

 

DISCLAIMER OF DAMAGES

Chromecast Inc. has made every effort possible to ensure that said software is free of any bugs or errors, however in no way is said software to be considered error or bug free. You assume all responsibility for any damages or lost data that may result from any errors or bugs in any software downloaded from chromecast.com or associated sites.

 

IN NO EVENT WILL Chromecast Inc. BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY GENERAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR OTHER DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THIS LICENSE.

 

In no case shall Chromecast Inc.'s liability exceed the purchase price for the software or services.

 

GENERAL

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Chromecast Inc.. You acknowledge and agree that there are no other writings, oral representations or other communications or representations upon which you are relying in entering into this Agreement. Any and all writings, oral representations or other communications or representations that you may have received concerning software downloaded from this site have no effect--it is the terms of this Agreement that will control all issues involving your use of said software.

 

All rights to said software are owned by Chromecast Inc. and are protected by Canadian copyright laws, international treaty provisions and other applicable laws. Chromecast Inc. retains all rights not expressly granted by this Agreement.

This license shall terminate automatically upon the violation by you of any of the terms stated herein.

This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.
